CLARION, Pa. - Rain and inclement weather caused officials to suspend action during the first round of the Clarion Women’s Golf Invitational Saturday afternoon.

The Gannon women’s golf team played nine holes, before the weather suspended play. Due to a number of teams being unable to finish 18 holes, the tournament has been reduced to a 27-hole tournament.

Teams unable to finish nine holes Saturday will do so Sunday morning. All teams will then play an additional 18 holes to determine the team and individual champions. No team or individual scores were available from Saturday’s action due to the suspension of action.
