ERIE, Pa. - Gannon head football coach Jim Kiernan has announced details for the Second Annual Knights Football Golf Classic scheduled for Saturday, July 24 at the Gospel Hill Golf Course. All alumni, parents and friends are invited to this year's event which is open to the public as well.

The day begins with registration at 12 noon, followed by a shotgun start at one o'clock. The golf classic will run in a scramble format. There will be opportunities to win great prizes along the way. Contests include longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt and various other games, along with a putt for prize area and football toss competition. Following the round of golf, dinner will be served at the pavilion.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve paid registration basis, so please register early as the field is expected to fill quickly. Those wishing to golf can register online at http://www.gannonalumni.org/footballgolfclassic. Once the registration form has been completed, you will be contacted to confirm your registration. All parties are asked to pre-pay to help make check-in flow smoothly on the day of the event.
