Gannon University is one of eight sponsors bringing free, public concerts to the City of Erie’s Liberty Park. The concert series, 8 Great Tuesdays, is an ideal way to hear great music while also being outdoors and enjoying some of the summer’s best weather. With more than 6,000 people from across the region attending the weekly concerts, Gannon University is proud to be one of the sponsors of the popular series.

The concerts are an ideal way for the University to reconnect with friends and alumni while also showcasing the University’s wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. At each concert, Admissions representatives will be available to answer questions from high school students who are thinking about college, adults looking to continue their education or start school, and students interested in transferring to Gannon.

Alumni representatives also will be on hand to connect with attendees.

So, as you make plans for the rest of your summer, include a visit to one of the “8 Great Tuesdays” and be sure to look for the Gannon tent!

The concerts are free and run from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Free EMTA shuttles are available at the Park ‘n Ride at 179 Lincoln Ave. and at the Intermodal Transportation Center.

• Aug. 3 Katie Armiger.

• Aug. 10: The Red Elvises.
