ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon football team concludes the road portion of its regular-season schedule Saturday, October 27 at Lock Haven. The last night game of the campaign is slated for 7 p.m.

Gannon enters Saturday's contest with a 1-7 overall record and 0-5 mark within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division. The Golden Knights have dropped seven straight games since a season-opening 36-33 victory against Lake Erie.

Head coach Brad Rzyczycki's club has been perfect in the all-time series against Lock Haven, winning all four encounters by an average of 28 points per game. The Golden Knights are 2-0 all-time at Lock Haven, winning 26-0 in 2008 and 42-7 in 2010. Last year's 37-13 Gannon victory at home was the closest scoring margin in the all-time series. The Golden Knights shut out the Bald Eagles during the first two meetings of the series.

Two Golden Knights broke Gannon single-season records last week against California (Pa.). Abraham Ocasio hauled in his 50th reception of the season, surpassing the old record of 49 set by Sam Culberth in 2003. The sophomore has 736 receiving yards, needing 72 to break the school's single-season record of 807 set by Lee Castana in 1997. His eight receiving touchdowns are also only one shy of Lawrence Coleman's record of nine set last season.

Fellow sophomore Justin Caliste produced the new benchmark for all-purpose yards in a single-season last week against Cal, increasing his total to 1,196. The old record of 1,170 was set by Sterling Pierce in 1998. Caliste enters the weekend eighth all-time at Gannon with 2,356 career all-purpose yards.

Liam Nadler is closing in on several Gannon single-season records. The redshirt freshman is 192-of-347 for 2,224 yards and 13 touchdowns through the air this season. He can break single-season records with 416 yards (Darmel Whitfield / 2,639 / 2004), 29 completions (Darmel Whitfield / 220 / 2004), 36 attempts (Darmel Whitfield / 382 / 2004) and eight touchdowns (Darmel Whitfield / 20 / 2003).

Gannon leads the PSAC in punt return average (16.36) and pass defense (160.50). The Golden Knights rank seventh among all NCAA Division II programs in pass defense and 14th in punt return average.

Lock Haven enters the weekend with an 0-8 overall record and 0-5 PSAC Western Division slate. The Bald Eagles are coming off a 30-28 loss to Clarion in which the Golden Eagles scored a touchdown as time expired to steal the victory.

Lock Haven enters Saturday's contest with the longest losing streak in the nation at any level. The Bald Eagles have dropped 50 consecutive games dating back to the 2007 season. The streak is 35 more games than the next closest Division II streak and 22 more games than the next closest streak at any level. Lock Haven's last victory was a 17-14 decision against Clarion on November 10, 2007.
