A brief summary of the 2013 inductees' achievements follows in alphabetical order.

Troy Bingham '92 (Men's Soccer) ranks second all-time in Gannon men's soccer history in points (170), second in goals (68) and fourth in assists (34). The high-scoring forward was an integral part of back-to-back NCAA Division II Final Four teams in 1989 and 1990. He was a four-time all-region selection and earned all-america honors in 1990.

Bingham led Gannon in scoring as a sophomore, junior and senior. He has three goal totals among Gannon's single-season top 10, including his 19 goals in 1989 that rank fifth all-time at Gannon. His 18 goals in both 1988 and 1990 rank ninth. Bingham's name can also be found among Gannon's all-time leaders in points where his 49 points in 1989 represent the sixth-highest single-season total in school history. His 44 points in 1990 rank 12th while his 42 points in 1988 rank 13th. Bingham was drafted by the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) following his collegiate career in 1992.

Lee Castana '00 (Football) was one of Gannon' best football student-athletes of all-time, especially when it came to combining athletics and academics. The three-year letterwinner was a two-time Academic All-District II selection, being named to the first team as a junior and the second team as a sophomore. He was also a two-time All-American, being named to the Football Gazette honorable-mention team as a sophomore and junior.

Castana graduated as Gannon's all-time leader in receptions (104), receiving yards (1,830) and 100-yard receiving games (6). He also ended his career with Gannon's all-time single-season records in receiving yards (807 in 1997) and 100-yard receiving games (4 in 1997). He held the top two single-game reception totals in school history with 12 catches against Canisius in 1997 and 11 receptions against Albany in 1996 until Justin Caliste tied the record this past season. Castana still holds the Gannon record for receiving yards in a game with 266 against Canisius in 1997. Upon graduation, he was fourth all-time at Gannon with 1,867 career all-purpose yards and owned the top two single-season all-purpose yardage totals.

Sharon Crotzer Johnson '95, '97M (Women's Swimming) is at the top of the list when talking about the greatest swimmers in school history. She was a seven-time All-American, capturing all-america honors all four years of her career. In fact, Crotzer Johnson is the only swimmer in school history to be named an All-American during all four years of their collegiate career. She earned all-america accolades once as a freshman, before receiving two during each of her last three seasons.

Crotzer Johnson owned the school records in the 50-yard freestyle (23.99) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.34) upon her graduation. She finished second in the 50-yard freestyle at back-to-back NCAA Division II National Championships in 1993 and 1994.

Heather Ford Hall '04 (Softball) quickly became one of the school's best softball pitchers of all-time upon her arrival at Gannon. Her four-year totals included 68 victories, 673.1 innings pitched, 857 strikeouts and a 1.06 earned run average. She still remains Gannon's all-time leader in victories, innings pitched, strikeouts, earned run average, shutouts (35) and complete games (81). Nearly nine years later, Ford Hall still has 291 more strikeouts and an ERA 0.44 lower than any other Lady Knight in the program's 37-year history.

The top four single-season strikeout totals in school history all belong to Ford Hall. Plus, she owns the top two single-season earned run averages. Ford Hall recorded a school-record 24 complete games in 2004. She posted 10 shutouts in a season twice, a feat that has only been accomplished one other time in school history.

Christina Jackson '07 (Women's Basketball) was one of the most dominant and athletic women's basketball post players in school history. A three-time All-American, Jackson's career numbers are staggering. She ranks second all-time at Gannon in rebounds (1,072), second in rebounding average (9.0), second in free throws made (455), third in points (1,912), third in field goals made (727), fifth in scoring average (16.1), fifth in blocked shots (108), sixth in games played (119), eighth in field goal percentage (.522) and seventh in steals (226).

Jackson was named to the 2005 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), the 2006 Division II Bulletin Preseason and the 2007 WBCA All-America honorable-mention teams. She concluded her career by being named 2007 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Year after being an All-GLIAC first-team selection and a GLIAC All-Tournament selection three times each. Jackson also landed a spot on the GLIAC All-Defensive first team twice. She led Gannon to the GLIAC Championship and the second round of the NCAA Tournament as a senior.

Marco Koolman '91, '01M (Men's Soccer) is a strong piece of the Gannon men's soccer tradition as both a student-athlete and a head coach. A four-year letterwinner from 1987-90, Koolman ranks second all-time at Gannon in assists (44) and 13th in points (76). He sits behind only Gannon Hall of Famer Rob van Rheenen in career assists. Koolman earned all-region and all-america honors in 1988 after dishing out a school-record 18 assists.

Koolman later came back to Gannon as a head coach and led the Golden Knights through one of the most successful periods in school history. The squad averaged 12.3 victories per year and reach double digits in wins during all six seasons with him at the helm. Koolman ranks second all-time in winning percentage (.706) and third in victories (74). His 1993 team opened the season with 14 consecutive victories and was ranked No. 1 in the country for five straight weeks. Koolman was later named 1993 NCAA Division II Coach of the Year after leading the Golden Knights to the NCAA Division II Final Four. It represented the program's third national semifinal appearance. He was later named GLIAC Coach of the Year in 1995.

Troy Nesmith '98 (Men's Basketball) put the Golden Knights on the national scene during his men's basketball career at Gannon. The former guard averaged 23.8 points per game while shooting 43.8 percent from three-point range and 87.5 percent from the free throw line during his two-year career. He was named Basketball Times NCAA Division II Player of the Year as a senior in 1997. Nesmith was a three-time All-American, being named to both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Daktronics All-America first teams as a senior. He earned NABC All-America second-team accolades as a junior. Academically, Nesmith was just as good. He landed a spot on the GTE Academic All-America second team as a senior.

Nesmith is Gannon's all-time leader in scoring average with his average being 4.6 points per game more than any other Golden Knight in the program's 68-year history. He ranks second all-time at Gannon in free throw percentage and third in three-point field goal percentage. Nesmith concluded his collegiate career by being named 1997 GLIAC Player of the Year. He was a two-time All-GLIAC first-team selection and a two-time GLIAC All-Defensive first-team honoree. Nesmith was also selected to play in the 1997 NCAA Division II All-Star Game.

Charles “Chuck” Campagne, Jr. '62 will be the 2013 Distinguished Service Award recipient. Campagne has been a longtime supporter of Gannon Athletics and a longtime basketball season ticket holder. He is one of Gannon's No. 1 fans and has always been seated in the front row across from the team's bench. Considered a great behind-the-scenes supporter, Campagne has been a proud supporter of the entire Gannon athletics department and its 18 intercollegiate sports programs.

A member of the Golden Knight Booster Club since 1974, Campagne has sponsored numerous activities to promote the women's and men's basketball programs and has been completely committed to the success of Gannon Athletics. Campagne is a member of Gannon's Universitas Society which is the highest recognition for a Gannon donor.

The 1992 Women's Volleyball Team is the eighth Gannon team inducted in the Hall of Fame, but the first volleyball squad. The 1992 squad still holds the school records for victories in a season (40) and winning percentage (.952). The Lady Knights won the NCAA Division II East Region and advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight before concluding the season with a 40-2 record. It was the second of three consecutive NCAA Division II East Region championships and NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances for the Gannon volleyball program.

The memorable squad was coached by Gannon Hall of Famer Gerry Burbules Vensel '92M. Team members included Katie Butterbaugh Kuiper '97, Paula Grom Hunter '96, Kelli Martin Hixon '97, Marla McElhaney Wyland '95, Missy Necina Soboleski '93, Janet Palmieri Parks '93, Gannon Hall of Famer Heather Petras Primrose '96, Jessica Rairie Carter '93, Kelley Roth Burton '96, Mary Winnert Johnson '95, Dawn Woods Paliotheodoros '94 and Gannon Hall of Famer Kathy Wotus Kuhns '93.
