Gannon Baseball Team Opens Four-Game Weekend Set Against Lock Haven Friday At Home

ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon baseball team opens a four-game weekend set against Lock Haven Friday, March 29 at Gannon University Field. The four-game series concludes Saturday, March 30 at Lock Haven. First pitch for both doubleheaders is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Gannon-Lock Haven History: The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division series between Gannon and Lock Haven has been evenly matched throughout the years. The two programs have split four-game series during the last two seasons. Gannon was able to sweep a four-game set in 2010, but only after Lock Haven earned a four-game sweep in 2009. The all-time series is tied 8-8 since the Golden Knights joined the league prior to the 2009 campaign.

  • Lock Haven and Slippery Rock were scheduled to play its second doubleheader today (March 28) in Lock Haven after several postponements.
  • Lock Haven had won four of its last six contests heading into today's doubleheader against Slippery Rock. The Bald Eagles dropped seven of their first eight games this season.
