ERIE, Pa. - It's deja vu for the Gannon basketball teams. For the second consecutive year, the Golden Knights will host the California (Pa.) women and the Slippery Rock men in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) quarterfinal doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at the Hammermill Center. The women's contest kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
The Gannon women's basketball team, ranked fourth nationally and first in the region, defeated California (Pa.) 77-50 during last year's quarterfinals at the 'Mill. The Vulcans advanced to this year's quarterfinals with a 74-59 victory against Seton Hill Saturday night. The Lady Knights swept Cal this season, winning 73-64 on November 20 at home and 65-57 on January 29 at Cal.
The Gannon men's team, ranked sixth regionally, saw its season come to an end last year with a 62-58 overtime loss against Slippery Rock during last year's quarterfinals at the Hammermill Center. The Rock advanced to Tuesday's quarterfinals with a 68-65 victory against Seton Hill Saturday night. The Golden Knights swept the Rock this season, winning 68-61 on December 4 at Slippery Rock and 59-56 on February 5 at home.

located between 3rd and 4th streets on Peach Street. Fans are asked to enter through the main Gannon Rec Center door in the middle of the block due to renovations. There will be no access through the doors at 3rd and Peach Streets. All advance sales (online and in-person) will end Tuesday, March 4 at 12 noon.
Plush seats and chairbacks cost $10 for the entire PSAC quarterfinal doubleheader. No single-game tickets will be available. A ticket will entitle the holder to the same seat for both games. There will be no refunds or exchanges after purchasing a ticket.
General admission tickets will be available in advance at all times online at www.gusportstickets.com
and in person during the same times listed previously. General admission ticket prices are $7 for adults and $2 for non-Gannon students and senior citizens. Students at any participating school are admitted free of charge by showing a valid school ID at the door.
If tickets remain available, ticket windows at the Hammermill Center will open Tuesday, March 4 at 4:30 p.m. Only cash is accepted at the ticket window on gameday.
