Kren Earns All-ECAC Women's Volleyball Division II All-Star Accolades

 
DANBURY, Conn. – Junior Hannah Kren (Waukesha, Wisc./Wisconsin Lutheran) of the Gannon women's volleyball team was selected All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II All-Stars announced by the conference. 

Kren was recently named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America honorable-mention selection. She also earned a spot this season on the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division First Team, Daktronics NCAA Division II Atlantic Region second team, AVCA Division II All-Atlantic Region team, as well as the NCAA Atlantic Regional All-Tournament Team.

Kren led the Lady Knights recording 41 kills (4.10 kills per set), four service aces and 38 digs while hitting .174 hitting throughout NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament. She recorded her 19th double-double of the season with 18 kills and 17 digs in the opening match against PSAC champion Shippensburg.

The Waukesha, Wisconsin native recorded 15 or more kills in 14 matches and eclipsed 20 or more in three matches.  She established a new career-high with 29 kills along with 20 digs at Slippery Rock on October 10.

She ranks sixth all-time at Gannon for most kills (471), digs (459) and is second in points with 539.5 this season.

Gannon concluded the 2015 season with 20 or more wins for the seventh straight season. At 24-11, Gannon made its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance making the Lady Knights at Gannon the only team in any sport to do so.
