HOW IT HAPPENED- Brown opened the match with a 5-1 lead at the close of the first quarter. Appearing in her first game of the season, junior
Shanen Lazenby (Erie, Pa. / McDowell) scored with 30 seconds remaining in the opening quarter for the team's first goal and her first of the season.
- In the second quarter, the Bears pushed their lead to 7-1 before Williamson recorded her first of two goals on the day with just under five minutes left in the frame. Williamson struck once again in less than a minute to cut into the Bears' lead, 7-3.
