On behalf of Gannon University’s highly motivated students and coaches, faculty, staff and administrators, welcome to the 2010 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Atlantic Regional. As a member of the PSAC’s Western Division, Gannon University is honored to have the opportunity to host this exciting and competitive tournament.
Gannon University has been ranked by U.S. News and World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” as a Top Tier university for six straight years. And, for the first time this year, Gannon was also listed in the publication’s “Top Up-and-Coming Schools” category, which recognizes institutions that have recently made the most promising and innovative changes in academics, faculty, students, campus or facilities.
A Catholic, Diocesan university of more than 4,200 students, Gannon offers nearly 100 strong academic undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs. Gannon’s 377 intercollegiate student-athletes perform well on the court, on the field and in the classroom. During the Fall 2009 semester, Gannon’s student-athletes collectively earned a 3.19 grade point average. In addition, 43 perfect 4.0 grade point averages were recorded during the Fall semester.
