Expected to compete in freestyle events ... enters the 2013-14 campaign as Gannon’s record holder in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.29), the 100-yard backstroke (50.87) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:50.01) … was part of the 800-yard freestyle (6:52.76) and 400-yard medley (3:25.84) relay teams that hold school records.

2013-14: Participated in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard IM as a junior … earned 25 PSAC-qualifying times ... registered four NCAA "B" cut times ... recorded top-three finishes 24 times and top-five finishes 27 times during 30 individual races ... met PSAC-qualifying times standards in each race in the 200-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard IM ... set the school record in the 100-yard backstroke as the lead in the 400-yard medley relay ... captured the individual title at the PSAC Championship in the 200-yard backstroke with a first-place finish (1:50.01), establishing the program mark ... earned first place in the 200-yard freestyle at the Edinboro Tri-Meet (1:46.90) and at Canisius (1:45.32) ... secured the top spot in the 100-yard backstroke at the Edinboro Tri-Meet (55.64) and at the SPIRE Institute Invitational (54.54) ... captured three top-showings in the 200-yard backstroke at the SPIRE Institute Invitational (1:59.41), at Canisius (1:56.97) and at the PSAC Championships ... to go along with his individual 200-yard backstroke title at the PSAC Championships, he placed third (51.27) in the 100-yard backstroke, fifth (1:41.45) in the 200-yard freestyle and seventh (21.26) in the 50-yard freestyle ... participated on relay teams in seven different events … captured two first-place finishes as part of relay teams, including the 800-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle twice and 400-yard medley relay three times.

2012-13: Earned All-PSAC honors four times at the conference championships, capturing the honor twice during individual events and twice during relay races … finished third in the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke, setting school records during both performances … met NCAA “B” cut standards with a 1:52.57 time in the 200-yard backstroke … earned all-conference accolades in the 400-yard medley relay (3:25.84) and the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:52.76) … set school records, met NCAA “B” cut times and finished second during both events … participated in 10 different individual events, recording NCAA “B” cut times in three of the events … met national standards during both the prelims and finals of the 500-yard freestyle at the PSAC Championships, finishing fifth overall … added an NCAA “B” cut time during the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.79) at the Wooster Invitational … produced 30 PSAC-qualifying times in 34 races … met conference standards during every 200-yard freestyle (six times), 500-yard freestyle (six times), 1,000-yard freestyle (twice), 100-yard backstroke (six times) and 200-yard backstroke (nine times) event … captured eight individual gold medals, including three in the 200-yard freestyle … placed among the top two during all five competitions in the 200-yard freestyle … won races in five different events … failed to finish among the top three only four times in 34 performances … was part of relay teams in eight different events … helped relay teams win seven gold medals, including three in the 200-yard freestyle and two in the 400-yard medley … competed with winning relay teams in the 400-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle one time each … helped relay teams finish among the top three 22 times in 26 relay competitions … finished among the top three during all five 800-yard freestyle and all four 400-yard freestyle relay events.

2011-12: Participated in freestyle, IM and backstroke events … earned All-PSAC status in the 500-yard freestyle, the 200-yard backstroke, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay … met NCAA “B” cut standards during the prelims (1:54.21) and the finals (1:53.81) of the PSAC Championships’ 200-yard backstroke, finishing second overall with a school-record showing in the finals … broke the school’s 200-yard freestyle record while leading the 800-yard freestyle relay team to a second-place finish and a record time of its own at the PSAC Championships … swam the first leg in a 1:41.29 record time as part of the team’s 6:56.05 timing … broke the 500-yard freestyle pool record at the Penn State Behrend Dual Meet with a first-place time of four minutes and 47.05 seconds … met NCAA “B” cut times during both the prelims (4:38.87) and the finals (4:37.63) of the PSAC Championships’ 500-yard freestyle event, taking home third place … was part of another NCAA “B” cut time at the conference championships in the 400-yard freestyle relay, placing third with a 3:06.52 time … captured 13 individual gold medals … recorded 25 PSAC-qualifying times … touched the wall first or second during all six of his 500-yard freestyle competitions … earned the top honor in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle three times each … was part of eight relay titles, including four in the 400-yard freestyle … finished among the top three 19 times in 24 relay races … named January 17 PSAC Swimmer of the Week which considered six Gannon events during the holiday break … won five individual races during those three competitions while placing among the top two in all seven individual events he swam in … helped relay teams secure two more gold medals while producing three PSAC-qualifying times during the award period.

High School: Swam for head coach Mike Doyle at Cathedral Prep (Pa.) High School … was an All-American … served as a team captain … graduated with second honors … was part of a Cathedral Prep program that won nine consecutive district championships.

Personal: Biology major … has one sister … is the son of Laura and Don.
